Loveless, born Dec. 8, 1922 in Manila to the late Jim and Mary Elizabeth Crow Files, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, Miss. Her husband, C.C. Loveless, a grandchild, Clay Loveless and her parents preceded her in death. She leaves three children, Jimmy and Hazel Loveless of Benoit, Miss., Gaylan and Pam Loveless of Elaine and Brenda Bishop of Pine Bluff; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Dr. Angie Passmore Howard, 43, of Conway, formerly of Russellville, passed away Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at her home. The daughter of Nolon and Anna Bates Passmore, she was born Sept. 2, 1965, in Dardanelle. She was a 1983 graduate of West Memphis Christian High School. Angie received her bachelor's degree in education and a master's in counseling from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway. She received her Ph.D. in educational aAdministration and supervision from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She worked with Russellville Middle School as a teacher and counselor from 1990 until 2003. Beginning in 2003 she taught early childhood education at Arkansas State University-Beebe. In 2007 she joined the School of Education at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She was a member of the National Education Association and the Arkansas Education Association. Angie spoke at the International Leadership Symposium in Cuba in 2004. She was a member of Church of Christ. She loved her yorkie "Abbie" and spending time with her family. She is preceded by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Velva Bates; and her paternal grandparents, George Millis and Arthie Passmore.
