She was born March 7, 1935 in Cuba, Ala., a daughter of the late Ben and Ollie Shaw Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of the Whitney Lane Worship Center. She enjoyed volunteering at the Lightle Center in Searcy and was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
