Maudie Cook Maudie Eather Say Cook, known to most as Grandma Cook or “Saint Maudie,” left this world to join her Savior in heaven Thursday. She was born Feb. 12, 1917, in Alton, Mo., to John Blake Say and Laura Melissa Risenhoover Say.


 


 

Opal Stringfellow Hilger

Opal Stringfellow Hilger was born Oct. 26, 1916 in Antioch, Ark., a daughter of the late J.O. and Myrtle (Benton) Stringfellow. She departed this life and went home to be with her Lord Friday, April 1, 2011 in White County. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.N. Hilger; sister, May Bass and brother, Ray Stringfellow. She is survived by her children, Hoyt Hilger of Providence and Anita Hilger House and husband Douglas House of North Little Rock; brother, Guy Stringfellow of Springfield, Ore.; grandchildren, Nathan and Angie House of Savannah, Ga. and Kelli and Lance Mayfield of Maumelle; great-grandchildren, Erin, Luke, Lainey and Bradley; lifelong friend, Dorothy Yingling and many dear friends at the Bethel Grove Church of Christ.

Rado Imogene Mason, 78, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Friday, April 1, 2011 at her home. She was born Oct. 21, 1932 in Steele, Mo., a daughter of the late Joseph and Rado Bayless. She was a loving wife and mother.
